Zintlr understands the importance of maintaining the privacy of our customers and the customers of our customers. We go the extra mile to carry out strict privacy checks so that you can rely on Zintlr comfortably.

    Zintlr Private Limited (“Zintlr”, “we”, “us”, “our") is a private limited established in Bangalore, India. The website(www.zintlr.com) under the name and style Zintlr ("Website”) is owned and operated by Zintlr Private Limited.

    Zintlr acts as a data processor of professional data (“Data”) which is then provided to our Licensees for business purposes related to sales, marketing, and operations. Zintlr abides by all Data Protection Laws in accordance with the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder including the Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data of Information Rules, 2011, that require publishing of the privacy policy and terms of use on an online portal and such other applicable laws while processing data to ensure that the procedure occurs securely and safely in alignment with Zintlr’s Data Processing Addendum. This data is stored securely and is not revealed unless we are legally compelled to do so.

    All your payments made towards Zintlr are processed by either Razorpay or Stripe. Zintlr does not directly access or store your payment information. Zintlr’s agreement with Razorpay and Stripe ensures that all your payment information is processed with complete security and confidentiality.

    Zintlr is a sales technology product designed to make it easier for B2B sales professionals to get accurate personal and company contacts and corporate intelligence in lesser time.

    The Zintlr database is constantly updated and verified to provide accurate, timely information, so our users (B2B professionals, sales professionals, and HR professionals) can spend less time researching their prospects and more time communicating with them. Building relevant connections is made easier with Zintlr.

    This Privacy Policy details how data is processed and added to Zintlr’s Business Database. Carefully reading the Privacy Policy will help you understand how Zintlr collects, processes, and uses your Data and how you may access, rectify, erase, or opt-out.

    This Privacy Policy acts as a complimentary addition to Zintlr’s Terms of Service (the “Terms of Service” or “Agreement”). If you do not agree with any part of the Privacy Policy, please discontinue your use of Zintlr’s Services and do not visit the website.

      A person who uses the Zintlr platform to find contact information for businesses and professionals. End-Users can be employees of a Licensee or individuals who have personally subscribed to the Zintlr platform.

    3. Licensee:

      A company or individual who has purchased a license to use the Zintlr platform. Licensees have the right to access and use the Zintlr Business Database to find contact information for businesses and professionals.

    4. Service:

      Refers to the functionalities, features, and content provided by Zintlr Private Limited to its users.

    5. Service Providers:

      External companies that Zintlr collaborates with to offer specific services, such as hosting, data storage, and customer support. Zintlr may share your personal information with these service providers but only to the extent required for providing the requested services.

    6. Zintlr Business Database:

      A collection of information about businesses and professionals, such as their names, email addresses, phone numbers, and other contact details. This information is gathered from various sources, including public records, social media, and direct user submissions.

  3. ZINTLR’S RESOLUTION

    Zintlr deals with the data of millions of professionals and companies. This makes it important for us that all your data is handled securely and with strict confidentiality.

    Zintlr resolves to comply with and uphold the Data Protection Laws and data processing regulations in all strictness. In accordance with the same, Zintlr also resolves to provide the most accurate, relevant, and updated database that our End Users can access.

    Zintlr ensures that no personal and sensitive data (such as that related to ethnicity, religious beliefs, or political opinions) is stored as far as possible.

  4. DATA COLLECTION

    Zintlr database comprises data related to Contacts, Companies, End Users, and Visitors.

    1. Zintlr Business Database

      Zintlr provides Data related to working professionals and companies. The information provided is limited to the information generally available on a business card or a business email signature block, or information necessary to contact an individual.

      Below is a list of sources from which we obtain data:

      1. Zintlr Community Edition:

        As part of the Zintlr Community Edition, members voluntarily provide us with professional business networks contact information, such as email header and signature blocks from their business email, under the terms of the program.

      2. Affiliates:

        We also obtain contact information from affiliates, which include subsidiary companies, parent companies, joint ventures, and other entities that are under common ownership.

      3. Third Parties:

        We depend on our business partners to gather and maintain a verified list of existing companies' information, referred to as Company Information. We use this information to ensure that the data obtained through other channels as mentioned before, is only added to our B2B database if it pertains to business-related details, rather than sensitive data.

      4. Public Sources:

        We have a unique system that searches and collects information from publicly available sources, utilizing advanced tools. For instance, We use it to detect common patterns of a company email, like [email protected].

      The data that is collected from our data sources are stored in Zintlr’s data lake. Here the data is organized, scanned, and merged to build a “Business Contact Card”. These Contact Cards are located in a highly secure database (“Zintlr Business Database”).

      Zintlr also maintains an Opt-Out List where we maintain a list of Contacts excluded from the Zintlr Business Database.

        The Data obtained from our Licensees, End Users, or Customers is not sold.

        For Licensees that subscribe to paid packages, Zintlr End Users are prompted to provide their professional email addresses and payment details (such as credit card information). Zintlr does not collect or process the payment information directly, it is done through the use of reputable third-party service providers who are specialized in handling the payment information.

  5. DATA UTILIZATION

    Zintlr utilizes the data gathered from its End Users, Visitors, and the Zintlr Business Database for different types of internal data processing and legal compliances.

    1. Zintlr End Users

      We process the data of our End Users to be able to provide them with a smooth service through Zintlr, improve our Services, and comply with data processing laws and regulations. We collect data from our End Users so that we can grant them access to the Zintlr Business Database. The End User data allows us to create and maintain their account on Zintlr. The data is also to verify your account and email address.

      Through this data, we are also able to explain to you the subscriptions and other details that are part of the Licensee’s Zintlr Subscription Plan. We also use your data to communicate relevant and necessary information and personalize the Services to better suit your needs. It also helps us provide you with any necessary support that you might require while using the Services. We are also able to respond to your requests to access your data.

      In addition to ensuring compliance with our policies, Terms, and Agreements, the information collected from our End Users allows us to detect any and all fraudulent or illegal activity that can negatively jeopardize Zintlr. It also enables us to have data that can be used during legal proceedings and respond to any requests made by legal authorities.

      Zintlr recognizes the gravity of online fraud and identity theft and takes active measures to combat these criminal behaviors. In order to safeguard the integrity and security of user information, we have implemented strict protocols and adhere to industry-standard security practices. Additionally, we are committed to compliance with all relevant data protection and processing regulations as well as all applicable security guidelines. Prior to any collection or processing of user data, consent is obtained to ensure that proper permissions are in place.

    2. Zintlr Visitors

      Zintlr collects and processes visitor data to analyze the effectiveness of our Services and improve it. By supporting visitors in their queries and conducting data analysis on the Site activity we are able to acquire data on how we can improve our Services. We also use visitor data to ensure that our Services are secure.

    3. Zintlr Contacts

      Zintlr uses the contacts in the Zintlr Business Database to provide services to our Licensees and End Users. The data is also used to continuously enrich, update, and validate the database. The data also helps us respond to your queries about the information we store on you and provide feedback-based support.

      Zintlr also employs user data to proactively prevent and deter criminal activities, including identity theft. We also use the data to ensure compliance with our own internal policies and regulations. Additionally, upon lawful request, user data may be shared with legal authorities to assist in ongoing investigations or legal proceedings.

  6. DATA SHARING

    The Data collected and processed by Zintlr may be shared with third parties for the aforementioned reasons.

    1. With End Users:

      We make Business Contacts from Zintlr Business Database available to our End Users and Licensees to deliver our Services and give them access to current, accurate, and verified business contact data.

    2. Within Zintlr:

      In compliance with data protection regulations and in consideration of your rights and freedoms regarding the processing of your data, your data will only be accessible to a limited and defined number of recipients. The data will only be accessible on a “need to know” basis and the rights to access your data will be subject to Zintlr’s internal privacy policies and confidentiality agreement.

    3. With Payment Partner:

      With your provided consent (where applicable) and taking into consideration your rights and freedom with respect to the processing of your data, some of your necessary data might be shared with our Payment Partner on a “need to know” basis.

    4. With Service Providers:

      Sometimes Zintlr may share business information or other collected data with service providers. They will only use this information to help us run the website, and provide the services, and nothing else.

    5. In case of an asset sale, merger, bankruptcy, or other business transaction:

    Zintlr retains your information in the Zintlr data lake and Zintlr Business Database for specific periods based on the type of information that is collected and the purpose for which it was collected. Data that is not required to be retained and outdated, unused information is destroyed at the earliest reasonable time.

    1. Zintlr Contacts:

      The data in the Zintlr Business Database is kept for as long as is required to offer our Services to our customers and Licensees, as well as to comply with our legal requirements, settle disputes, and enforce our rules.

    2. Zintlr End Users:

      Zintlr retains your data for as long as your account is active on the Zintlr site. This data may be stored in the archive for 6 years, on a need-to-know basis, after which the information is deleted in accordance with our legal obligations and as required by law.

    3. Zintlr Licensees:

      Licensee information is retained for as long as they subscribe to Zintlr’s Services and for legal compliance. Following this, the data is retained for 6 years, on a need-to-know basis, after which the information is deleted in accordance with our legal obligations and as required by law.

    As permitted by applicable data laws and security exchanges, our Data Processing Addendum, and other business agreements with our Licensees, we strictly retain the Data on behalf of our Licensees only.

    The data present in Zintlr’s data lake is stored in an unstructured format for 3 years to be able to verify and collate the relevant information to create a Business Contact in the Zintlr Business Database.

    We also retain contact data in our Opt-out list for a necessary duration to be able to provide services. The list includes information about public figures or those who have requested to have their data removed from the Zintlr Business Database.

  8. DATA ACCESS

    If you want to access your personal information about yourself, you can get in touch with Zintlr at [email protected] or access your data directly from the public directory. To edit your data, you can fill out the Data Correction Form made available at the Zintlr Privacy Centre or mail us at [email protected]. To erase your data, you can fill out the User Opt-out Form made available at the Zintlr Privacy Centre.

    Your data may be stored in our opt-out list to ensure that your data is not added to the Zintlr Business Database which might make your data available to our End Users.

    3. Tabs Justification:

      The Zintlr extension needs access to the tabs that users have open to provide features such as the sidebar, which enables instant access. Additionally, it verifies whether the user has our company (Zintlr) tab open to open a detailed overview of the data the customer needs to access through our platform.

    4. activeTab Justification:

      The Zintlr extension requires access to the active tab to provide features such as data enrichment. By suggesting data from our database, we can enrich any existing customer data. We also plan to assist customers in writing better emails through our smart suggestion feature in future builds.

    5. Scripting Justification:

      The Zintlr extension needs the ability to execute scripts within the context of web pages to provide features such as lookup. By running scripts, we can display intelligence about companies to our customers when they are on a company website, using data from our database.
